Beverly Jurenko, MBA ACC

If you are like most people, you want to be successful. However, have you considered what success actually means to you? Given the Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines success as “the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence,” it’s no wonder we tend to focus on money and title as the most important way to demonstrate we’re doing well. Working hard, doing our best, and striving for excellence are noble intentions that lead to achievement, but when we forget other parts of ourselves that matter, we can lose the joy in our lives. Framing success as the intersection of achievement and joy is the starting point for all of Beverly’s work.

An effective, reputable speaker and certified Executive Coach, Beverly brings a wealth of global experience in the corporate, non-profit, and startup sectors to her speaking engagements. She is a former Vice President for private equity investor BancBoston Capital; a co-founder of HBS Houston Alumni Angels; and the founder of two startups: That’s Math, an EdTech bilingual family math engagement company, and Best Cleaning Services, an award-winning commercial cleaning company she sold for 6.7x capital invested. Her career in energy encompasses Director-level positions at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and Enron, in addition to working as an Economist with Amoco Oil Company. Beverly carries the high expectations and quality of work she mastered in these roles with her to create engaging and well-researched presentations and workshops.
